The older population in Malaysia is increasingly growing. With this increase is also a rise in fall incidences. A wide range of evidence have suggested multifactorial interventions targetting individual fall risk factors as a superior mean for reducing incidence of falls among the older adult population. Hence, the Malaysian Falls Prevention Network (MyFalls), in collaboration with several other organisations will be organising the first multidisciplinary falls prevention scientific hybrid meeting. ACT4Health is a social enterprise founded in 2017 as an initiative under University Malaya. Its aim; to ensure sustainability in ageing research and to ensure health excellence among the ageing population, besides advocating postgraduate empowerment. As such, Act4Health actively organises annual interdisciplinary training & education workshops/webinar for skills improvement among postgraduates and to raise health awareness among the public on ageing-related issues.
