A volcano is a mountain with a hole in the top with hot liquid rock inside called lava the hot liquid rock under the surface called magma.When volcano erupts expels the lava on the surface around the hole .There are theree types of volcanos : Active volcanoes can erupt at any moment and quite often.Dormant or inactive volcanoes erupted a long time ago, but they can erupt again.Extinct volcanoes cannot erupt again
