PICTIONARY

This is an amazing game. Your students are going to love it.

+INFO

1. Prepare some cards with words that you want to review. 2. Spread them facing down on the table. Include a couple of cards with the words "lucky" which means you get a point without even trying, another one with "unlucky", and here you lose a point. 2. Divide the class into two, three, or more groups. 3. A student from the first team will pick a card, and he has 20 seconds to draw the word. If the first team gets the word before the time is up, they get a point and the team still turns until we finished reviewing all the words we want them to remember.

ring/grab it first

This game is to practice vocabulary playing in teams.

+INFO

For this game, you need a table, a bell or any other object students can grab (ball, chocolate, etc.) 1. Prepare a list with review questions 2. One member of each group is going to sit down in front of the other student. 3. Place the bell or any other object you prepared in the middle of the table. 4. Ask the questions from your list. The first student that knows the answer must ring the bell or grab the item and say the answer if is correct his/her team gets a point. (If you are working with chocolates, so is a good idea for the student to get the chocolate. 5. What the winners win is your decision.

An interesting game for your students in face to face classes.

+INFO

1. Divide the class into two groups.2. Ask the students to stand in two lines facing the board.3. On the board you’ll draw a line and on top of that line write these three rules without explaining anything: lesson related (3 points) not related (2 points) misspelled (-1point)4. The first two students standing in the line write a word on the board. Let’s say they wrote the word banana.5. They hand the marker to the students standing right after them and go to the back of the line.6. The second student must write a new word that begins with the last letter of the previous word.
