EISENHOWER MATRIX:

The Eisenhower matrix is a graphical representation, where a two-axis quadrant is shown. These axes show the degree of importance, as well as the urgency required for each task. In this sense, the quadrant helps us to classify tasks, depending on their degree of importance and delivery times. At the same time that, on the other hand, it allows the organization of work, so that at a glance we can organize all the work pending. The Eisenhower matrix is made up of four blocks. Its classification, as we said, establishes the tasks based on the urgency that such task requires, as well as their importance.

What is that?

Phases:

The first quadrant, as shown in its definition, will include those tasks with the highest priority, and which, in a certain way, help us to achieve those priority objectives that will determine the achievement of our objectives. In this quadrant, therefore, we will include crises that require immediate solution, problems that require a quick solution, important projects that are of greater importance.Second, the second quadrant focuses on those important but not urgent activities. In this sense, we will include tasks related to the observation of new opportunities, the construction of relationships, as well as other important tasks, but that do not require urgency.Third, we have the third quadrant, which includes tasks that are not important, but that do require urgency. In this quadrant we will include telephone calls with clients, emails, meetings, institutional activities, among others. In fourth and last place, we have the fourth quadrant. It integrates tasks that are neither important nor urgent, so we will not give it more importance than it already has. This quadrant can include aspects such as having breakfast in the office for long periods of time, some calls that do not contribute anything, emails that have nothing to do with work activity, non-work activities, among others.

Objetives:

Objectives of the Eisenhower matrix, there are a series of objectives to be met with the implementation of the matrix. In this sense, we could include the following objectives, such as those that mainly pursue this matrix: -Increased productivity. -Greater efficiency and effectiveness in task management. -Achieve the objectives in a timely manner. Organize work in a better way. -Greater concentration on the priority. -Crisis management. -Discipline. -Control. -Vision.
