London

It is the capital and largest city of England and the United Kingdom. Situated on the banks of the River Thames, London has been an important human settlement since it was founded by the Romans under the name Londinium almost two millennia ago. It is the main financial center in the world. London is also a world cultural capital, the most visited city considering the number of international visits and has the largest airport system in the world according to passenger traffic. In this city people of a great number live together of cultures that speak more than three hundred different languages.

It is a square in central London, built to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar (October 21, 1805), in which the British army defeated the French and Spanish armies in front of Cape Trafalgar

It is a neighborhood in central London, it is a place known for the annual Notting Hill Carnival, which takes place in August and is considered the largest carnival in Europe, it was established in the 1960s as a positive response to the tension between immigrants, and by racist incidents and persecutions in Notting Hill. Notting Hill is also known for the Portobello Market, which has become a major tourist attraction.

The Globe Theater was a London theater associated with William Shakespeare. It was built in 1599 using wood from an older theater, by Shakespeare's Theater Company, and was destroyed by fire on June 29, 1613. In June 1614 a second Globe Theater was built on the same site, which was in operation until it was closed on September 6, 1642.
