But then he must confront the demon Te Kā and its lava. In the end, he dropped his jade stone and magic hook into the ocean. A millennium later, Moana is the chosen person to return Te Fiti's heart. Moana's father, a chief of the island where Moana lives who provides everything the villagers needed when fish become scarce, coconuts begin to spoil. So Moana suggests going beyond the reef to find more fish, but her father disagrees.
