Découvre comment construire et utiliser
le "prétérit"

Construire et utiliser le passé en anglais.

En anglais, on appelle "prétérit" le temps qui sert à parler d'actions passées, terminées.

Il se traduit la plupart du temps par le passé composé en français.

il y a 2 possibilités:

Si c'est
un verbe "normal"

Si c'est
un verbe "irrégulier"

J'ajoute les lettres "ED" à la fin du verbe

Il y a quelques lettres qui changent. Je dois l'apprendre par


Exemples:
I work I worked
they play they played

Exemples:
I sleep I slept
they lose they lost

Pour les phrases affirmatives

Tu ne peux pas deviner si un verbe
est "normal" ou "irrégulier",
il faut apprendre par la liste
de ceux qui sont "irréguliers"

Ces verbes "réguliers" sont très faciles à conjuguer, mais tu vas devoir faire attention à la façon dont tu prononces les lettres "ED"

il y a 3 façons différentes
de prononcer
les lettres "ED"

on fait le son ( t )

on fait le son ( id )

on fait le son ( d )

Pour savoir comment prononcer le "ED"
à la fin des verbes, tu as 2 solutions:

Tu les répétes
et tu les utilises souvent, et tu
finiras par les connaître par

Tu apprends cette règle:

Si le verbe finit par le son "d" ou "t", les lettres ED se prononcent "id"

Si le verbe finit par le son "p", "k", "f", "s" ou "ch" , les lettres ED se prononcent "t"

Dans tous les autres cas, les lettres ED se prononcent "d"

Négations et Questions

NEGATIONS: apprends à dire ce que tu n'as
PAS FAIT pendant tes vacances

QUESTIONS: demande à tes camarades ce qu'ils
ont fait pendant les vacances

Négations au prétérit.

Pour faire une phrase négative au prétérit, il suffit d'ajouter "did not" ou "didn't" entre le sujet et la base verbale

You play. You did not play.

They sleep. They did not sleep

Si je vois "DIDN'T",

je sais que la négations est au prétérit.

You watch TV.

You watch TV.

Tu ne regardes pas la télé.

Tu n'as pas regardé pas la télé.

Pour faire une question au prétérit, il suffit d'ajouter "did devant le sujet et la base verbale

You play. Did you play ?

They sleep. Did they sleep ?

C'est "DID" qui me permet de savoir que la question est

au prétérit.

Do you watch TV ?

Did you watch TV?

Pour les négations et les questions, on se moque de savoir si c'est un verbe "normal" ou un verbe "irrégulier", car on utilise la BASE VERBALE
