This cape in Florida is one of the best places in the world to launch rockets from. To see a rocket launch, you can go to the Kennedy Space Center, where there are viewing rooms, expositions, space simulation centers, and even the opportunity to meet an astronaut. You can also see launches for free from nearby areas like Cocoa Beach.

This is where the rocket that took Yuri Gagarin to space in 1961 launched from, which is why it's considered such an important location in the history of space exploration. The Cosmodrome, which boasts 8 platforms, is located in southern Kazakhstan. To see the rocket launches, you can visit the Gagarin Start platform, found at the base, just 0.6 miles away from the launch pad.

This NASA center located on the island of Wallops has one of the oldest launch locations in the world. A visitor's center is located around 6 miles away, and is always open, making it one of the best places to see rocket launches. You can also see the launches from the Wallops Island National Wildlife Refuge.
