The dense and constricted movement in the battle led to clever ways for both oppositions to outplay each other. Strategies often included punji sticks, placed down by the Vietcong, Bamboo whips which consisted of bamboo with long and sharp spikes inserted in and cartridge traps that caused a nail or pin injected within a person's foot All of this is known as guerrilla warfare. which is commonly hit and run tactics that seem irregular in such a war.
