Update!
Mask Info Masks are no longer required outdoors on KCSD school grounds! The message below was shared with the community this morning:
- KCSD has received the new and updated guidance from the NYSDOH that no longer requires masks be worn outdoors on school grounds, including during outdoor activities and interscholastic sports. However, there is no change to the requirement of mask use indoors and on our school buses. Effective immediately, mask use is no longer required outdoors on KCSD school grounds. All other health and safety efforts will remain in place in our school buildings and on school grounds, including proper social distancing, daily health screenings and temperature checks. Kingston City School District encourages our faculty and staff to continue the practice of frequent “mask breaks” for our students with an increase in these breaks during warmer weather. KCSD would like to thank our community for your support as we continue to follow the safety guidelines set forth by the state and county departments of health.

PTA MeetingThursday, June 10th 6pm Zoom We will be holding our annual budget meeting this Thursday, 6/10 at 6:00pm. We are looking for members to participate in helping to review our budget, fundraisers and expenses. Without this we will not be able to pass a budget for next year at our final general meeting of the school year, next Tuesday, 6/15 at 6:00. It is not a long meeting and is not a difficult task, just one that is required. Please let us know if are able to help out! We are also still seeking officers for next year, especially a treasurer! Matt can tell you all about the position and also quell any fears or concerns about it. It is not as daunting as people might think! As a reminder, if we do not have, at minimum, a president, a treasurer, and a secretary, we will have to dissolve our PTA and subsequently will lose all of our funding and ability to help support Myer!! Please reach out if you have any questions and/or if you are considering helping Myer PTA by being on our board! Even if you have no experience or not sure what it entails, we are all here to help!Thank you,Jenny BryantPresident, Myer PTA
