About the project

Migratory birds” is the metaphor for working on the idea of ​​a global world where the flow of people is a constant. In La Plana, our high school, there are 20 different nationalities, 13 languages ​​are spoken and 6 religions coexist. What about in yours? Do you have such cultural wealth? With this project we will try to analyse the causes of this multiculturalism, that is to say, what has brought them here and what ethical and moral implications this cultural amalgam has. The project is related to two Sustainable Goals. Goal 10 - Reduce inequality within and among countries and Goal 4 - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Etwinning projects offer students the opportunity to open up their eyes and discover new countries as well as the possibility to work hand-in-hand with students from other cultures.

About the project

OBJECTIVES Students will: - learn the different cultures that build our identity - discover similarities and differences between different cultures - identify the positive points of migrations. - learn about geography - improve their foreign language proficiency - learn to collaborate with peers in mixed teams for a common goal - develop digital competency - develop social skills - understand the importance of teamwork

Teachers will: - transmit the students the idea of seeing migrations as something positive. - transmit the students the idea of seeing diversity as something enriching. - show students the importance of reducing inequality within and among countries. - ensure inclusive and equitable quality education. - promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
