Introduction

What is Asparagas? How did 'Asparagas' appear in the media? According to the news published in Hürriyet Newspaper on June 14, 1963 with the headline "American Girl lives in a shanty house with her Turkish lover", the 21-year-old Turkish boy named Yaşar Sönmez and 19-year-old American girl Betty Ashade fell in love with each other. Since Yaşar's family did not want to marry a foreign girl, the two young people set up a small hut between houses 7 and 9 on Chrysanthemum Street in Etiler and started to live there. The young couple lived a happy life in their slums, which they named as Azparagas, while waiting for their wedding date. Betty was cooking delicious meals, and Yaşar was serenading her lover by playing guitar.READ MORE...

School presentation

Hello I'am Elif.I attanding Kemalettin Tuğcu Secondary School. I'am thirteen years old but I'll be fourteen years old very soon.I live in Beykoz -Örnekköy.My hobbies;play volleyball and basketball ,swim( especially in pool )and I like to travel with my family. I am very happy to be in this project.

But it was a fake news. The other journalist checked the news and the characters on their own place. He confirmed that is fake news “I found the Asparagas hut in Bebek, which is called the home of great love, on Chrysanthemum Street in Etiler. The street residents made me regret that I am a journalist yesterday. It turns out that the name of the person called Yaşar was Yavuz. He made a definite return from France with his family, not from America.Betty is her sister, Gulizar.Yavuz made the empty container carrying the family's belongings a meeting place for his friends in the neighborhood. Here they listen to music and have fun.The reporter of the newspaper that made the news deceived the reader by making Yavuz and his sister Gülizar in love in front of the container that the neighborhood youth called asparagas. Do not believe every news you read. Now see that some newspapers put you on the line beyond purity and some of the news they give are fake news with scripts.Such news, which we will call asparagas from now on, will remain as a black stain on the faces of newspapers. " Another tells about the appearance of Asparagas word in Brazil in the 1950s, "Los Asparagas" hippie boy he saw in Sultanahmet, a journalist is spoken will come to our country's groups by photographing a few tourists "Asparagas group came to Turkey," the title of the article published lies that the definition of "asparagas" was made for such news. However, it is considered that this narrative cannot be considered reliable since a Brazilian music group named “Asparagas” could not be identified and there was no additional evidence or testimony to support it. In short, the word "asparagas" used to mean "fabricated news" is also a product of "made up". The "azparagas" written in the photo in this completely fictitious news published in Hürriyet was a made-up word that had no meaning. Over time it evolved into "asparagas" and became a definition used for fake news. From this point of view, we can say that the claim that the origin of the word presented with the definition of "false or inflated news" in dictionaries is based on the word "asparagus" in English does not have a basis and does not reflect the truth. Asparagas and asparagus are two words that are similar in spelling or pronunciation, but have completely different meanings, ie "pseudo-equivalent" words.
