THE USA
The borders of the United States of America: - to the north with Canada - to the south with Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico- to the west with the Pacific Ocean - to the east with the Atlantic Ocean.
PHYSICAL MAP
The United States has a rather homogeneous territory, characterized by two large mountain spines. In the east and west we find the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachian Mountains. In the central southern part there are large plains with a hydrography that also marks its borders. The rivers are many and the main ones are the Mississippi and Missouri.
CLIMATE
The climate of the United States varies according to the areas. The Atlantic coast is characterized by temperate climate. The highland areas, depressions and basins interior of the Mountains Rocciose are characterized from the thermal excursions that they show up all year round.
The population is not homogeneous, most of it is concentrated in the north-east. The main language is English. The most widespread religion is Protestantism but there are also minorities. The capital of the United States is Washington
FEATURES
Agriculture is very mechanized and profitable as breeding and fishing. The industry is at the forefront in the various sectors, specially in he production of many types of energy and mineral resources; the most important industries are for example: aerospace, aeronautics, electronics. The United States is the first world economic power. The tertiary sector is very developed and occupies most of the population.
