It is a fried flour dough. It is a tradition to do it on March 25 in the area where we live. Each person has different ways of doing it, there are people who make them round and filled, but the way I make it, the donuts are flat with nothing inside, they are usually round but they can also be square.

It is a dough that is baked in portions (as seen in the photo) and looks like a cookie (it looks like a cookie because the dough is crisp and hard). Mostachons are usually cooked for Easter.
