Theme/Important Issue: An important issue in the minority report is the balance between protection and privacy, and also free will. The Concept of predicting and preventing crimes before they happen can be life saving and helpful to society, but the invasion and privacy and lack of room to change your own fate can deplete a community of trust and life.

Unibersal Idea: The universal issue that the story addresses is the moral dilemma of whether using people that are different to see the future and change its outcome

SINOPSIS The movie follows the plot of the story and the lessons that are invloled, but still changes some aspects sucha s character names and backgrounds

However this backfires on the police chief John Anderton, because the mutants that predict future crimes have predicted that he will murder a man that he has yet to meet. Anderton now has to prove his innocence in the eyes of the authorities
