Messages to future generations

Messages to future generations sent via our time capsule. Extracts from students' answers

  • To the children and adolescents of tomorrow: , do not take these days of your life for granted because they will never come back. Omnia El Haddadi, IIS SRAFFA, Italy
  • Never give up, not even a global pandemic can stop you if you commit yourself to achieve a goal, despite the millions of complications that may occur in the future. Giulia, IIS P.SRAFFA, Italy
  • Wherever and whenever you might be reading this, I really hope mankind has managed to ,once again, surpass its limits. I hope unity has taken the place of constant conflict and let you finally tackle our global issues; of hunger and inequality, of climate change and unsustainability. You probably have your own struggles, perhaps even ones that are still inherited from us, or previous generations - and I guess we owe an apology for that. I wish you the best of luck in your journey. The best of luck, in this coming of age, as our species comes out of its rapidly developing adolescence, into a more mature and hopefully stable adulthood. STELIOS PETRAKOS, 27 G. LYCEUM OF ATHENS
  • No change is unrealistic; if you can dream it, you can make it. Remember that solidarity is the only way you'll reach global prosperity. If you live in times of conflict between countries, or even war, never forget: you have more in common with the citizens of the other countries than with your government. 27th G. LYCEUM OF ATHENS, KATERINA YANNOPOULOU
  • We did have our setbacks , we made innumerable errors and we indeed, failed in many aspects. However, here we are, fighting for a better tomorrow. Fighting for the amelioration of our society and for the elimination of our drawbacks. That’s what we want you to remember. You might fall, but you shall rise up stronger, for that’s the meaning of life.27th G.LYCEUM OF ATHENS. ANGELOS TERPO,GR
  • Be confident, love yourself first. Don’t give in for group pressure. Make sure you learn to feel your own inner boundaries. When you need to pick which way to go in your work life, pick something you love and you think is funny, you have to do it everyday for the rest of your life. Be aware that every choice you make ( especially as a teen) could have consequences for the rest of your life.Treat every human being with kindness, every man and woman on this earth has their own story. GABRIELA GIAUPI, 27th GENERAL LYCEUM OF ATHENS.
  • Be careful of the internet and not to spend too much time in front of a screen because it could create very serious problems. Grejsi Aga, IIS SRAFFA, Italy
  • I hope that this bad time that has taken away the lives of many people in this wonderful world will never happen again. Pawanpreet, IIS "P.Sraffa"-Crema- Italy.
  • Be very careful with your choices and do not repeat the same mistakes. Be very grateful for your life and make it as good as possible. AMANDA ASLANAI ,27th G LYCEUM OF ATHENS
  • You should always have high hopes and follow your dreams no matter how vain they may seem. Because those hopes and dreams that start from childhood are our future. Ioanna Seranidi, 27th G. Lyceum of Athens, GR
  • Live your life at the most, you can have beautiful and ugly experiences because you can learn so many things,If you Respect people for their nationality and their sexual orientation finally you respect the planet on which we live. Live and respect please and thank . Valeria Bertolotti, IIS SRAFFA, Italy.
