On June, Jose begins to go in school at St. Tomas Univesity in Manila where he studies philosophy and medicine.

Rizal begins school under Mr. Justinano Aquin Cruz at just nine years old
Dr. Jose Rizal continues his education under Master Lucas Padua in a public school in Kalamaba

At the age of 15, Rizal receives a Bacheor of Arts Degree from the Ateneo de Manila. He not only receives this degree, but receives it with highest honor.

Rizal enters the Ateneo as boarder at just 14 years of age
Rizal is examined by those incharge of college entrance to Sto. Tomas University in Manila; he enters the school system as a scholar
