Day 1
Observe the video presented by the teacherand answer the following questions: - How can we use Mathematics to analyze real-life phenomena? - Can we use Mathematical models to predict data?
Scatter plot graph
With the data captured, each team will generate a scatter plot in a graphing software (Geogebra or Desmos). This graph must contain the name of each variable and show the necessary notation.

The objective of the core activity is to analyze a real-life phenomenon and model a trigonometric function according to the data. Then, using this model, future data will be predicted.
Assign a role to each student: - Leader: He or she will guide the team to complete the tasks. - Secretary: He/she will oversee all documents. - Time controller: Will organize the activities’ time. - Video editor: Will be in charge or recording the sessions and edit the final video.
