Genital Herpes
Herpes
Herpes is a common virus that causes sores on your genitals and/or mouth. Herpes can be annoying and painful, but it usually doesn’t lead to serious health problems.Herpes is spread from skin-to-skin contact with infected areas. Many people with herpes don’t notice the sores or mistake them for something else, so they might not know they’re infected
What is a normal Herpes
What is genitalis Herpes?
Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) passed on through vaginal, anal or oral sex. Treatment from a sexual health clinic can help, symptoms clear up on their own but can come back. There are two different types of the virus (type 1 and type 2), both of which can affect the genitals. One of the types is the same virus that causes cold sores around the mouth (type 1). Genital herpes causes painful blisters and sores on and around the genitals(type 2). It can also sometimes cause problems if it's caught for the first time either very early or very late in pregnancy.
Where can appear
The herpes sores can appear on your genitals parts or on your upper part.
How transmit it
Your genitals coming into contact with your partner's genitals
Sharing sex objects that aren't washed or covered with a new condom each time they're used
Unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex
Kissing
Sometimes the people don't have any symptomps, if symptoms do occur they usually take between two and twelve days after contact to appear.Symptoms of the first infection can include spots or red bumps around the genital area. These can be very painful. At the same time, these swellings can break open and form sores or ulcers which gradually crust over, forming new skin.
Symptomps
You can treat herpes, but once you get it, you’ll always have it. When symptoms show up, it’s called having an outbreak.
Treatment
Your doctor will prescribe an antiviral medicine. These pills can help you feel better and shorten an outbreak.
You can take an antiviral every day if you: -Have lots of outbreaks -Want to prevent more outbreaks
