The sites don’t actually present any threats that don’t already exist elsewhere online. The danger is that the threats exist in a new online environment you or your child may not be familiar with

• Vulnerability to online crimes
• Cyberbullying
• Identity theft
• Invasion of privacy
• Your child seeing offensive images and offensive
• Internet and Computer Addiction

• make sure that you don’t publish personal information.
• make sure you're very careful about what images and messages you post, even among trusted friends
• encourage them to talk to you if they come across anything they find offensive or upsetting
