Teacher Appreciation Day!
Teacher Appreciation Day is a day to honor teachers and thank them for their work. Teachers have a very important job; they educate children, shaping the future leaders of the world. Teachers affect their students’ lives every day, and a good teacher can have a huge positive impact on their students’ lives. This is why we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day - to show teachers that we appreciate them and everything they do.

Idea #1: Write a thoughtful letter to your teacher and mail it to them, or give it to them when you see them in class. You can write about something they taught you that you really liked, or about what makes them a good teacher
Idea #2: Ask your teacher what their favorite treat is and mail or drop off that treat for them to enjoy!
Idea #3: Work together with your classmates to create a class thank-you book. Everyone can write a note thanking the teacher, and you can put them together in a little book.
Idea #4: Try making this craft! It’s a “chill pills” jar full of small candies for your teacher to enjoy when they’re feeling stressed: http://www.theblessedmessblog.com/diy-teacher-appreciation-gift-ideas/ (From The Blessed Mess)
Idea #5: During Teacher Appreciation Day, you can also celebrate other school staff such as your principal, school secretary, coach, counselor, or janitor.
