Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the Queen, as well as the administrative headquarters of the Monarch. Buckingham Palace has been the London residence of the monarch since 1837. The palace is located in the city of Westminster.
Buckingham Palace is certainly the administrative hub of the Monarchy, but it’s also a home for the Royal Family. The Queen gave birth to both Prince Charles and Prince Andrew at the palace, and various members of the Royal Family have been christened at the palace. Additionally, many royal weddings have been celebrated at Buckingham Palace - most recently the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William
