It is about a love story where the protagonist named Jane falls in love with a man named Rochester. Although they had difficulties to be together, we can see how in the end of the book they promise eternal love by getting married

She is the protagonist of the book and was orphaned. she lived with her aunt and cousins, who treated her badly and sent her to boarding school where she met her friend Helen hers. She is honest and smart and worked as a governess at Thornfield Hall. She eventually she would marry Mr. Rochester.

She is Jane's aunt, who mistreated her and even locked her in the red room. Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Reed reveals that she hated Jane because her husband loved Jane more than any of her biological children.

He is the one who gave him food and shelter with the help of his sisters, after Jane fled. He is reserved and often controls his interactions with others.

When Jane's uncle dies, she leaves him her entire fortune and learns that the Rivers are her cousins.Years after her escape, she returns to Thornfield as she learns that Mr. Rochester's house had been burned and he was inside it, so she lost her sight and a hand. In the end they marry and after 10 years of marriage Mr. Rochester is recovering his sight.

Her experiences at this school as poor living conditions are reflected in the first part of her novel, Jane Eyre, which was published in 1847. She died on March 31, 1855 in Haworth, Yorkshire, England.
