What´s the video about?

the video is an apology letter for future generations for not having taken care of the environment at the exact moment. It talks about trees, pollution, its causes, etc...

What we´ve learned?

We´ve learned that some of the causes of environmental issues are from the growth of cities and the lessenings of forests. The consequences are the destruction of forests, decrease in biodiversity, decrease in plants and trees, etc.

Secondly, everyone has the right to live on this planet, if we stop taking areas that are home to other animals, and turning them into businesses or factories will be less of an effect on the environment.

We really agree

Finally: "the hole world is a family and we are inter-dependent for a better life"

In first place, our way to think is that every individual has the responsability to use the natural resources judiciously.

Something that really stands out to us

We were really surprised with the idea of lower the amount of habitat destruction and stop cutting down trees.

actually, the things he talks about in the video are considered for most of the population (if not all) a huge problem that needs an urgent attention and the best mindset of all of us to help the planet, but over that, to help us.

Something that we dont necessarily agree with

Another perspective can be:

How trees are beneficial to us and how we harm them?

• Trees are beneficial to humans because they provide us the oxygen we need to breathe. They are also the home of lots of animals who live in them, such as birds, monkeys, and chipmunks. Sadly, humans have cut or burned them down, just so we could make more money and space for different kinds of industry, harming the wildlife and biodiversity.

“The rule of gold” is related to mining, which is an economic activity that uses chemical compounds to extract fossil fuels from underground. This process is extremely harmful to the environment because of the chemicals that affect the groundwater and the air different plants and animals (including us humans) breathe. We think “the golden rule” is related to respecting and taking care of the environment. So what the phrase refers to is humans giving more importance to making money and gaining profits than taking care of the environment.
