TAXONOMY
Taxonomy and Kingdom
They feed mainly on other invertebrates such as spiders, various insects and snails. Some species can count among their prey small vertebrates such as snakes, rodents and lizards, this depends on the size of the scorpion and how powerful its venom is.
Diet
Its habitat is mostly located in arid or desert regions, although some species are adapted to humid, tropical and subtropical regions. Most prefer sandy, dry and stony terrain or arid and dry mountain lands.
Habitat
As an arthropod, scorpions are most closely related to tailless whip scorpions and vinegars and more distantly related to spiders, mites, and crustaceans. All arthropods have jointed appendages, bilateral symmetry, and that crunchy factor: an exoskeleton.
Symetry type
Scorpions don't exactly go through metamorphosis. Actually, scorpions go through a process called vivipary which is a relatively small process. Instead of laying eggs like most other insects and arachnids do, scorpions develop their young inside and give live birth, much like how humans reproduce.
kind of metamorphosis
Despite being poisonous predators, scorpions are valuable as prey because many are relatively large and quite abundant. Birds (mainly owls), lizards, some small snakes, mammals (some rodents and carnivores), and frogs and toads eat scorpions. Some vertebrates even specialize in scorpions, at least seasonally.
Pray or depredator
And on the other hand not sinceScorpions possess venom, but the sting normally results in swelling and pain similar to a bee sting. There are recorded incidents of deaths caused by scorpions, and in these cases children or the elderly often are those affected. Only a few species are actually deadly to humans.
On the one hand yes sinceHumans use scorpions both practically, for medicine, food, and pets, and symbolically, whether as gods, to ward off harm, or to associate a product or business with the evident power of the small but deadly animal.
