This is how we made Easter palms of crepe paper during our Tuesday meeting. Have a look and make some yourselves!
1. Cut colourful strips of crepe paper (about 5 cm wide).
2. Make incisions in the roll of crepe paper (about 2/3 of its width).
3. When spread,it should looklike that:
4. Take glue and smear it over the stick. Then, arrange the crepe paper around the stick in a decorative way.
5. Use glue when necessary.Make sure the paper is attached to the stick.Slowly make your way down the stick with the paper.
as you like. All the timekeep movingdown thestick.
6. After a while, change the colour. Use as many colours
7. Leave the bottom piece of the stick empty - you will be able to carry your palm easily. And now it is ready! We always carry our palms to church on Palm Sunday and put them in a vase on our Easter Sunday table.
