There is a duty of home confinement, not being allowed to circulate in public spaces and public roads, with the exception of authorized movement, in which the following stand out: - acquisition of goods and services; - access to public services; - performance of professional duties (provided that accompanied by a declaration); - health reasons; - assistance to vulnerable people - attendance at schools; - short trips for the purposes of physical activity, either alone or with a partner - participation in religious ceremonies; - animal-walking; - journeys necessary for entering and leaving mainland Portugal, including those necessary for travelling to and from the place of accommodation; - return home within the permitted situations; - refuelling at petrol stations within the framework of permitted journeys.

15th March - Commercial establishments open until 9pm on working days and until 1pm on weekends and public holidays, for home delivery, doorstep delivery or collection of products purchased by means of distance communication (click and collect); - Food stores open until 9 p.m. on weekdays and until 7 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; - Take-away drinks are allowed from restaurants and similar establishments, but the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m; - Fairs and markets may be held for the sale of food products, subject to authorisation by the Town Council; - Bookshops, libraries and archives open; - Parks, gardens, green spaces and leisure areas open; - The restriction of opening hours is not applicable to tourist resorts, local accommodation, rent-a-car and establishments located inside airports after passenger security control. - In hotel bars and restaurants, function is permitted for the purpose of delivery to guests' rooms (room-service) or for the provision of meals or packaged products at the hotel door (take-away).

5th April - Opening of museums, monuments, palaces, art galleries and similar establishments; - Opening of shops up to 200 m2 with a door onto the street; - Non-food fairs and markets allowed by municipal decision; - Opening of restaurant terraces (groups of maximum 4 people allowed); - Physical activity and outdoor training up to 4 people

19th April - Cinemas, theatres, auditoriums and concert halls open; - All shops and shopping centres open; - Restaurants, cafés and bakeries open until 10 p.m. and until 1 p.m. on weekends and public holidays. Groups of 4 people allowed inside or 6 in gardens/terraces. - Physical activity and outdoor training up to 6 people; - Outdoor events with reduced capacity.

3rd May - Restaurants, cafés and bakeries open without time limits. Groups of 6 people allowed inside or 10 people on terraces; - Large outdoor events and indoor events with reduced capacity.
