The tricky part about love is sometimes we mistake love for attachment.Sometimes we think we still love a person and we keep holding on to them desperately like they are out life line but in reality, you're just on to the memories and not on the person anymore.

The fact that we can understand the asses situations, realize the difference between wrong and right but even though we know that it hurts and it will hurt us, we still sign ourselves up to that pain and that's a flaw.

I was rooting for us too, alam mo yan.But I guess our choices failed to align with each otherIt all started with a prank, but day after day I started falling for you. There hasn't been a moment when you haven't amazed me about things you are passionate about. I learnt many things thanks to you. I learnt not to be afraid to try again, because i wouldn't have minded defying the odds one last time, but even this time I failed once more. Then the time I feared the most came and I never thought thank yous would hurt until it was from you. You said that I did mattered, but I wasn't enough for you to change your mind. It's okay if it took you so long to realize, at least you learnt the lesson and the same goes for me. I've learned not to settle for being an option when I'm the catch. They say that love is a losing game, maybe that's why i lost myself loving you. You were indeed my mistake.
