BRITISH HOUSES
In British houses, the kitchen and the living room are usually downstairs and the bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs.
In Britain there are a lot of houses. Flats aren't very popular: they haven't got a garden and gardens are very important to British people.
British flat = ordinary residence. British apartment= posh flat.
FLATS (appartamenti)

They are identical houses joined together in long rows. They are made of bricks or stones and they are usually small.
TERRACED HOUSES
It's for one family and it is usually in the countryside.
It isn't joined to another house.
DETACHED HOUSE(casa indipendente)
They are popular in Britain.
They are two houses joined together, each with its own front door.
SEMI-DETACHED HOUSE(casa bifamiliare)
They are small houses in the countryside and some have thatched roofs and beautiful gardens.
