Think about the last week. What journeys have you made? How did you travel? Which was the most enjoyable way to travel? Discuss the questions in pairs or groups, then feedback to the class.

You will watch a video about 2 types of transport. What are they, and what does it say about them? Before watching, make a prediction. What transport types will appear in the video? The UK Cycling Network is only for cyclists and pedestrians. It is used by 4.4 million people. It is not an important part of the UK travel infrastructure. It supports local tourism. The aim of this network is to encourage people to walk and cycle. Get students to copy these statements and then watch the video again to check their comprehension.
