Biography

Emma Watson is popular around the world thanks to her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter film series. At the age of 9, she auditioned to be Hermione, the female lead in one of the most famous literary adaptations in film history: that of Harry Potter, by J.K. Rowling.

Why is she famous?

Emma has joined movements such as Books on the Underground, in which she goes incognito on the subway platforms, such as London or Madrid, hiding books that promote feminism, so that whoever finds them enjoys them. Emma was also named a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women. In addition, she joined as a spokesperson for the He For She campaign, which seeks to include men in the movement for gender equality.
