A plot is a sequence of events that make up a story. It's divided into many parts:

It's the introduction to a story. It includes main characters, setting, mood, and time.

Rising action to climax
IThe conflict drives the plot of the story to a rising action. The rising action shows events to develop characters, and it creates suspense. It leads to a climax.
Conflict
It's the most exciting point of the story. It's the point of highest tension or drama.
CLIMAX
The resolution completes the story. The end can leave questions, answers, frustration, or satisfaction
Falling action and ending
The falling action is everything that happens as a result of the climax. It leads to a resolution.
