Regular verbs

Regular past simple forms are formed by adding -ed to the infinitive of the verb.

Did you know about "La Violencia"?What did you know about it?

La Violencia did not acquire its name simply because of the number of people it affected; it was the manner in which most of the killings, maimings, and dismemberings were done.

"La Violencia" was triggered by the 1948 assassination of liberal political leader Jorge Eliécer Gaitán.
