Just finished reading the Amazing Fantasy Issue 15 by Marvel and I am completely amazed by the superhero. This Peter Parker guy gets bitten by a radioactive spider and gains superpowers. He catches crooks and saves the day.In the end he learns that "great power comes with great responsibility" I can't wait for more of his adventures...

While I was lying on my bed trying to clear my head from the overwhelming song 'Love me do", I had just heard on Radio Luxemburg, by some band called the Beatles, my sister came in...

friday,october 5,1962

...she had just returned from the cinema and wanted to chatter about ''Breakfast at Tiffany's" and how she loved the soundtrack'Moonriver".But I can't stop thinking about that song that I told you about.I think I've heard the word 'love" a total of 23 times...

Angie came by to watch the new TV show 'Doctor Who" on BBC 1.We had to wait for a while, due to the ongoing reports on J.F Kennedy's assassination but it was worth it.Susan and her grandfather used a police box which was actually a time machine called Tardis to travel back to the Stone Age where they had to deal with a dangerous tribe. In the end they escaped with their time machine to a dark forest that didn't look that friendly...We can't wait to watch the next episode next week and find out about its secret!!

A letter from my cousin Jane in Washington,D.C rose a new quarrel in our house.I don't quite understand politics but I'll do my best to describe what the letter meant to us.Last Wednesday,August 28 a great protest against discrimination of balck people took place in front of Lincoln Memorial in Washington.Dr Martin Luther King Jr who fights for civil rights delivered a speech that, as my cousin puts it, will go down in history. He talked about his dream of freedom and equality. My sister started to fight with our parents, insisting on leaving for America next summer to study and be part of the revolution whereas my parents pleaded her not to get over excited ...It seems to me that this Martin Luther king is not the only one who has a dream...

It's the last night of our holidays here in Skegness.Mum and dad went to play Bingo and my sister and her friends are taking part in a dance competition in the ballroom.Granny has won the Best Head of Hair competition this morning and she is in a very good mood.As for me I think I've had the best time ever....

...I'm going to miss the clarion call 'Goodmorning campers" that woke us up every morning. The wooden chalet where we have been staying has immediate access to the swimming pool.I'm going to miss the afternoon strolls by the seaside, the rollercoasters, the candyfloss stalls ,the sound of those motorbikes and the fights down the beach at night...

how many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?Yes 'n' how many seas must a white dove sailbefore she sleeps in the sand?Yes 'n' how many times must a cannonball flybefore they're forever banned? The answer my friend is blowing in the windthe answer is blowing in the wind

Another letter from my sister arrived earlier this morning talking about the war in Vietnam and the protests that take place in Washington.Since the day she set her foot in America she hasn't stopped writing to us about the anti-war demonstrations. She and Jane take part in many of them...My parents are really worried but then again...it's a a new generation.

my dad loved theLondon Motor Show at Earl's court

"Perhaps nothing illustrates the new swinging London better than narrow, three-block-long Carnaby Street, which is crammed with a cluster of the ‘gear’ boutiques where the girls and boys buy each other clothing…"Just wanted to be reminded of this day...

....Can't wait for our trip to san Franscisco,California where the hippie culture thrives. The heart of the active civil rights movement ,the anti-war movement and the black power movement beats there.

“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” That's what Neil Armstrong said while he was taking a stroll on the moon. We all watched with excitement Nasa's Apollo 11 launching and landing on the moon.

What a wonderful way to end the summer!!! Just returned from a great music festival that lasted 3 days just outside New York in Woodstock. They say half a million of us attended the concerts and 32 artists performed live outdoors from 12 in the morning till dawn.Despite the rain it was an unforgettable experience...

...we had to leave our van on the road due to traffic jam and trekked our way to the camp.Although the facilities were inadequate and the fact that the mud seemed to have gotten into our skin we had the time of our lives. The music ,the crowds, the peaceful celebration of the end of an era...
