GENERAL DESCRIPTION

His resistance to exhaustion is also enviable, as shown by going through several nights without sleep and still giving evidence of his intelligence by making deep reflections.

He is a true storehouse of knowledge, he has several doctorates that make him an expert not only in medicine and psychology, but also in law, philosophy and literature, in addition to being fluent in many languages.

As he himself reveals, he is a widower and had a son who died.

The character is presented to us as an old Dutchman who is surely over sixty years old.

Professor Abraham Van Helsing is a fictional character from the 1897 gothic horror novel Dracula, written by Bram Stoker.

A man of medium height, strongly built, with his shoulders set back over a broad, deep chest and a neck well balanced on the trunk as the head is on the neck. This Dracula play is a play by Irishman Hamilton Deane.This is the first adaptation of the novel, personally authorized by Stoker's widow. The play had enormous influence on many of the film versions of the novel, especially to Tod Browning's 1931 version.
