This is a Friday Summer Camp for middle- and high-school-age students. This program runs 9 weeks, beginning June 14 through August 16. Activities include gaming, art, gardening, multimedia, theater, yoga, daily living skills, 3-D printing, sensory activities, and music. Participants will be separated into two groups, ages 11 - 14 and ages 15 – 19.

Creative Writing hours are intended to build upon creative writing skills through lyric writing, poems, stories, and more. Come in with content ideas and writing genres you would like to develop. These hours engage reading and writing, creative and critical thinking, and social skills.

Islands of Creativity for Older Adults is the time when self-identified older adults are available to utilize the SSM Health Treffert Studios. During this time, space and equipment are available for a variety of engagements including card and board games, art and craft projects, gardening, music and more. Islands of Creativity for Older Adults offers a full day schedule of activities. Participants are welcome to join for one or all activities offered throughout the day!

Grant Manier
Grant Maniér (maun-yay) is a behavioral technician at SSM Health Treffert Studios. He loves his job, which involves helping neurodivergent individuals find their passion and express their talents. As someone who lives with autism, Grant's unique perspective and understanding makes him an invaluable member of the Treffert Studios community. Grant moved from Texas to Fond du Lac, to study graphic designs at Moraine Park Technical College. When he's not working at Treffert Studios, or going to college, he spends his time creating art. He is an award-winning eco-artist who uses recycled materials to create stunning pieces that promote environmental awareness. Welcome to Wisconsin, Grant!
Julie Coy is a dedicated Behavioral Technician at Treffert Studios, responsible for organizing and inventorying all media equipment and theater costumes. She takes great pride in her highly organized and detail-oriented approach to ensuring that equipment and costumes are in good condition and readily available for use. As the mother of Grant Maniér, an award-winning Eco-Artist, who lives with autism, Julie has a personal understanding of the importance of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all individuals, especially those who are neurodivergent. She is passionate about helping students find their talents and express themselves through the arts.

Whether it is training other therapists in both modalities or providing support to staff and students at the Treffert Way for the Exceptional Mind Charter School, he is always willing to share his knowledge. Music is a big part of my life both in terms of listening to it and playing it. I also enjoy spending most of my free time playing videos games on my computer at home.

I am currently working with Treffert Studios to facilitate & assist with various class offerings, prescreen & assist with incoming interns, and I work at Treffert Center as a Registered Behavioral Technician. I am continuing to develop my skills at UW-Madison in the Masters of Social Work program. This is a Friday Summer Camp for middle- and high-school-age students. This program runs 9 weeks, beginning June 14 through August 16. Activities include gaming, art, gardening, multimedia, theater, yoga, daily living skills, 3-D printing, sensory activities, and music. Participants will be separated into two groups, ages 11 - 14 and ages 15 – 19.

Gideon is a nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatry with a passion for film, music, and art. He has developed an understanding of the complexities of mental illness and is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal mental health. He employs a holistic approach that combines medication management with therapy and lifestyle modifications. Outside of work, Gideon loves to immerse himself in the arts. He enjoys watching films, exploring local galleries and museums, and attending live music events. He believes that the arts have the power to heal and has seen the positive impact that music, film, and art can have on his patients. Gideon is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all of his patients and believes that building strong relationships with them is the key to successful treatment outcomes. He is dedicated to improving the lives of those struggling with mental illness.
Hi, I'm Nathan Cuellar and I work at SSM Health Treffert Studios as a behavior treatment technician. I enjoy music, video games, and technology as a whole, especially computers. Music is a big part of my life both in terms of listening to it and playing it. I also enjoy spending most of my free time playing videos games on my computer at home.

Participants will engage in a fun and interactive Pathfinder experience, like Dungeon and Dragons, through various landscapes, encountering goblins, undead, and other creatures along the way. She takes great pride in her highly organized and detail-oriented approach to ensuring that equipment and costumes are in good condition and readily available for use. As the mother of Grant Maniér, an award-winning Eco-Artist, who lives with autism, Julie has a personal understanding of the importance of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all individuals, especially those who are neurodivergent. She is passionate about helping students find their talents and express themselves through the arts.

I am continuing to develop my skills at UW-Madison in the Masters of Social Work program. I look forward to continuing to be a part of the Treffert family by providing opportunities and avenues for Neurodiverse individuals to explore and strengthen their interests and skills.

Islands of Creativity for Older Adults is the time when self-identified older adults are available to utilize the SSM Health Treffert Studios. During this time, space and equipment are available for a variety of engagements including card and board games, art and craft projects, gardening, music and more. Islands of Creativity for Older Adults offers a full day schedule of activities. Participants are welcome to join for one or all activities offered throughout the day!

Grant Maniér (maun-yay) is a behavioral technician at SSM Health Treffert Studios. He loves his job, which involves helping neurodivergent individuals find their passion and express their talents. As someone who lives with autism, Grant's unique perspective and understanding makes him an invaluable member of the Treffert Studios community. Grant moved from Texas to Fond du Lac, to study graphic designs at Moraine Park Technical College. When he's not working at Treffert Studios, or going to college, he spends his time creating art.
