Thanks to it we can move, do physical activity and practice sports. It has 3 parts: - Bones. - Muscles. - Joints.
- There are around 206 bones in our body. - Inside our ear we have the smallest bone. - Bones grow until 25 years old. - Babies have 300 bones and they are more flexible than in adults.
- There are around 630 muscles in our bodies. - Muscles that we use more are located under the eye. - Muscles can grow depending on the type of excercise.
- There are 306 joints in our bodies. - As you become older your joints get stiffer (mas difíciles de mover)
4 ways to take care of our bodies: - warm up to get the body ready. - stretching to avoid injuries (lesiones) and pain muscles (agujetas) - be prepared using sporty clothes and shoes. - don´t overuse (no sobre cargar) the muscles.
