Born in Erzurum in 1953, Fuat Başar started her marbling studies by writing a letter to Mustafa Düzgünman, whose interest in the art of marbling she studied at the medical school

At the Presidential Culture and Art Grand Awards in 2019; Fuat Başar won the "Traditional Arts" award for his "outstanding efforts and efforts in transferring, making love and teaching calligraphy and marbling arts to new generations".
