The room I occupied held concealed secrets and naked revelations, none of which spoke aloud enough to assist me in formulating an honest report. Instead, a swath of random information collected in me and took on a most mischievous twist - a twist, except the very means in which it contorted itself into a sudden singular suspended thought. How it became a powerful force of its own — and within the confines of my physical existence, drove my mind into dimensions beyond the fabric of previously achieved mindfulness. Shapes, many of which followed no semblance of guidance other than the strength of light enforcing them, gathered around me, and threatened to consume me inside a collective embrace. Sudden pressure from everything in this room suffocated me, thus scattering my ability to register comprehension, and gain proper control of a sudden, terrifying moment.

Words beyond my senses drifted between my ears, sifting between my mental hemispheres. Sounds congregated into unintelligible whispers and ramblings But the tone of this uninvited invasion suggested nothing resembling friendship, nor goodwill - but a distinct undercurrent of multi-dimensional violence. I whipped my head up and beyond the nearest shadow and into the light and was granted milliseconds of reprieve. I forced my hand to reach for the closed door, grasping for the doorknob like a child reaching for its mother seated in the corner rocking chair. My fingers extended long and far. And inside my held breath, nothing reached for me, but open air. My mind snapped, and my body exploded with urgency. The slam of my racing feet upon bending plywood woke my mind up and deep with it, crazed self preservation replaced my perceived plight.

The daylight filled with pavement and cement accepted the pounding of my feet, which moved with a speed not known to me since age seventeen on the high school track. And the house which fascinated me enough to grace its inner history, disappeared behind me - along with the unknown presence that inhabited my mortal shell.

Discovery,

Hints,

My mind snapped, and my body exploded with urgency!

Decisions
