At hatchery the employees of the fish farm take care of the fertilized trout eggs so that they hatch and join an egg and stay there until they reach one gram.

Hatchery

At the nursery platform, fish from 1 to 30 grams are reared. These fish are sometimes used for restocking or for canning.

NURSERY PLATFORM

In the raceway ponds, brown and rainbow trout weighing 30 grams to 2 kilograms are reared. Some are used to repopulate rivers or lakes, and all for processing.

In the processing workshop, trout is produced in the form of fillet, whether it is smoked or not.

Transformation workshop

Aquaponics consists in making plants grow above ground thanks to the nutrients provided by the fish. It is a closed circuit system, that is to say that we always recycle the same water. A drum filter is added to it to remove larger particles in suspension as well as organic matters. You can cultivate all types of plants there but they are mainly used to grow salads or strawberries, and especially plants that are used for consumption.
