My grandpa lives in the south side of Goa, India, where it's known to be more rural and to have less tourists.

The giraffes that he wanted in the photo were a gift from his brother when they lived in Uganda.

My grandparents got married in 1954, when my grandma, Alice Leitao (née Antao), was only 19 (going on 20) and my grandpa was 35. Over the nearly 70 years of marriage, they have lived in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and India, and have raised seven children, six of whom are still alive today. Taken in Aug. 2018.While my grandpa says it's his happiness that has kept him alive for so long, he also says it's wife. Everyone who knows them agrees.
