Who are we?

JON

DENISE

As you already know we are studying bac in Botikazar, a highschool in Bilbao. We are in the same English class, however, it's the only class we have together, because we study different things. And now, who do you want to know first?

DENISE

Hi! I'm Jon, I'm 16 and I live in Irala, a little neighborhood in the south of Bilbao. I like playing handball, and that's why I play in a team. I also like to play videogames like rocket league with my friends. I study science-oriented subjects, such as technical drawing or physics and chemistry. Besides, I also study french, but I'm not good at it.

JON

Hey!! I'm Denise, I'm 16 and I live in Bilbao, in the neighborhood of Deusto. I love doing sport and because of that, I do rowing. I study subjects that are related to Humanistic and Social things, like Economy and History. Moreover, as Jon does, I study French, so I wish someday we will share some words in french.

Now you know who we are, so do you want to see where do we study?

This is our highschool, Botikazar. Here you can only study bac, so when the course started in September we came from other schools. Botikazar is placed in Bilbao, in the neighborhood of Deusto. It's along the river that crosses Bilbao, Nervión.

Did you like our highschool? So let's watch were do we live

As you already know, we live in Bilbao, the capital of Biscay. Bilbao isn't a very big city, but there are a lot of things that make people love Bilbao and Biscay. When the city was founded in 1300, Bilbao was what today we call "Zazpi kaleak" or the historical center. Bilbao is surrounded by a mountain range, so its growth is restricted by natural limits. Further, a river crosses the city, the Nervión. Here are some beautiful things from our city

Our country is located in the south of Europe. Spain isn't a very big country, but there are more than 45 million people living here. A great characteristic of Spain is that each autonomic community (the country division system is used here) has its own culture and gastronom.y Besides, some of them have their own languages apart from Spanish, like the Euskera in the Basque Country or Català in Catalunya.
