Botikazar is the name of our School and it's located next to the estuary that crosses Bilbao. Our school is focused just on Upper Secondary school, so all of us come from different schools from Bilbao. As a curiosity, the High School is boat shaped, because in the past, there was a Nautical School where it's currently located.

Learn about Bilbao
Find out aboutBilbao
Continue:
Bilbao is the capital of Biscay, a province of the Basque Country Autonomous Community in Spain. In the past, Bilbao was one of the cities with most industries from all Europe. This was the case due to the estuary that divides the city. But nowadays, Bilbao has left that industrialized past aside, to replace it with with the new modern and touristic city. Several important landmarks and buildings can be found around the city. But probably, the most characteristic building is the Guggenheim Museum, which is in fact very close to our high school!
