Reading and telling fables

Leer y contar fábulas

Erasmus team chose two famous fables in order to work them in class. The youngest worked "The enormous turnip" and the oldest worked "The country mouse and the city mouse"

El equipo Erasmus eligió dos fábulas conocidas para trabajar en clase. Los más pequeños hicieron "El nabo gigante" y los mayores "El ratón de campo y el ratón de ciudad"

At the end of the project, 5th grade students attended a meeting with Italian Students. They introduced themselves, played some games and sang different songs

Al finalizar el proyecto, los estudiantes de 5º tuvieron un meeting online con los estudiantes italianos. Se presentaron, hicieron juegos y cantaron canciones

Our students created some Christmas cards in order to send them to our European partner. We received some cards from Croatia, Greece, Italy and Sweeden.

Students from 1st grade to 6th grade came up stories with story cubes. They worked individually and in a collaborative way.

Students of 3rd grade wrote down different stories about Easter holidays. They were great!

To celebrate it, students of 5th and 6th created stories about the tolerance, respect, cooperation between European citizens and then we shared the best three with our project partners

Para celebrarlo, alumnos de 5º y 6º crearon historias sobre la tolerancia, el respeto, la cooperación entre ciudadaos europeos. Después compartimos las tres mejores con nuestros compañeros de proyecto

Younger students made wooden puppets with traditional costumes of the countries that belonged to the project

We carried out meetings with Croatian, Greek and Sweeden students in June. There we sang and danced together. Also they introduced themselves

Tolerance stories

Historias sobre la tolerancia

Students from Sagrado Corazon school had a great time with students belonged to Virgen del Amparo School. They read the story of Elmer because it is about tolerance and respect. Virgen del Amparo school is a reference place where people with several special educational needs assist.

Los estudiantes del colegio pasaron un buen rato con los alumnos del colegio Virgen del Amparo. Leyeron la historia de Elmer. El colegio Virgen del Amparo es un centro de referencia para alumnos con necesidades especiales

Our sixth grade students shared a wonderful with their mates from Motril (Andalucia). All of them worked the famous story of Elmer previously and once it was read, they made questions about it. We celebrated the Tolerance day with this activity. Both schools have inclusion students with special needs and we are happy to help them!

Nuestros alumnos de 6º compartieron un maravilloso rato con sus compañeros de Motril (Andalucía). Todos trabajaron previamente la famosa historia de Elmer y tras leerla, hicieron preguntas sobre ella. Celebramos el día de la Tolerancia con esta actividad. Ambos centros cuentan con alumnos con necesidades especiales y ¡estamos muy contentos de poderles ayudar!

Our Primary pupils of 5th and 6th shared stories whose authors are Spanish with Primary 1 and 2 pupils. They had a great time!

RESIDENCIA DE FUENTELENCINA

Our Primary 5 pupils shared different stories with elderly people who live in the elderly people's home in Fuentelencina. They enjoyed the stories that were told and our pupils asked them some questions about their childhood and the kind of stories their parents told them. It was a beautiful experience for each other!

Nuestros alumnos de 5º compartieron diferentes historias con las personas mayores que viven en la residencia de ancianos de Fuentelencina. Disfrutaron de los cuentos que les contaron y nuestros alumnos les hicieron preguntas sobre su infancia y el tipo de cuentos que sus padres les contaban de pequeños

Our 4th grade students (9-10 years old) developed during 4 weeks their own stages in order to tell stories to the youngest students in the school (from 1 to 5 years old).

Los alumnos de 4º de primaria (9 y 10 años) desarrollaron durante cuatro semanas sus propios escenarios para contar historias a los alumnos más pequeños del colegio (desde 1 hasta 5 años).

Algunas de nuestras familias quisieron participar en la actividad de Erasmus+ creando o contando una historia y grabándola para compartirlas con toda la comunidad educativa. ¡Fue una experiencia genial!

On May we went to Greece and we know new students from different countries and learn a lot about their culture and traditions. Also, we visited different monuments.

En mayo fuimos a Grecia y conocimos nuevos estudiantes de diferentes países; además aprendimos mucho sobre su cultura y tradiciones. TAmbién visitamos muchos monumentos y sitios de interés.

Story jumper

One of the most attractive activities of our project was the elaboration of five audiobooks made by our students through the Story Jumper application in a cooperative way.

Una de las actividades más atractivas dentro de nuestro proyecto, fue la elaboración de cinco audiolibros digitales de forma colaborativa.

2nd - 8th October

In October 2022, a group of 6 students of 5th and 6th grade of Primary with Cristina Palomo and Cristina Sánchez, traveled to Karlskrona (Sweden) to meet with our project partners of our Erasmus+ project “Erasmus Bring Us Closer”

En octubre del año 2022, un grupo de 6 alumnos de 5º y 6º de primaria junto con Cristina Palomo y Cristina Sánchez viajaron a Karlskrona (Suecia) a conocer el colegio de nuestros compañeros del proyecto Erasmus+ “Stories Bring Us Closer”. También visitamos muchos monumentos y sitios de interés.

12th - 18th March

En febrero de 2023, 6 alumnos de 5º y 6º de primaria junto con Cristina Palomo y Patricia, viajaron hasta la región del Etna en Biancavilla (Sicilia), para conocer el entorno y el colegio de nuestros compañeros italianos en el proyecto. Fue una gran experiencia.

In February 2023, 6 students of 5th and 6th grade of primary accompanied by Cristina Palomo y Patricia, were in The Etna Region, in Biancavilla (Sicily) to know the environment and the school of our project partners there. It was a great experience!

14th - 20th May

Nuestro proyecto Erasmus+ culminó con el meeting en nuestro centro, en el que recibimos la visita de nuestros socios y compartimos una semana emocionante llena de actividades con las que vimos disfrutar tanto a los alumnos como a los profesores inmersos en el proyecto. Algunas de nuestras familias acogieron alumnos de Croacia y Suecia.

Our Erasmus+ project “Stories Bring Us Closer” finished in May 2023 in our school, when we welcomed our partners here in Guadalajara. We shared with them an exciting week with plenty of activities and all of us enjoyed it a lot. Some of our families hosted students from Croatia and Sweden.
