Speedway is a very popular sport in Poland. We have a speedway club in Rędziny.

Football is the most popular sport in Poland. Everyone loves football. Although our national team is not the best team in the world, we love it! The most famous football player from Poland is Robert Lewandowki. We are sure you have heard about him:-) We have got two football clubs in Rędziny : Unia Rędziny and Lotnik Kościelec. Some of our students play in Unia Rędziny and their team is quite successful. Do you wanto to see our students training? CLICK!
There used to be a limestone quarry in Rędziny. It has been restored and "given back" to nature. The educational trail “Kopalnia przywrócona naturze” (“Mine claimed back by nature”) was created in the closed mine a few years ago. The restoration was possible thanks to the Cemex cement plant in Rudniki and the Cemex Fund “Budujemy przyszłość”. You can see numerous Willow Warblers and Yellowhammers, Marsh Warblers, Chiffchaffs, Whitethroats, Nightingales, Pheasants, Great Reed Warblers and Grasshopper Warblers, as well as House Martins and Sand Martins. You can also observe unique plants and animals. You can go for a walk and see beautiful landscapes and interesting inanimate natural objects. You can explore the trail throughout the year. We can also have lessons there - it has been adapted to conduct lessons in sciences, biology, geography and geology for children and teenagers. Lessons outside are much more interesting than those taught in the classroom!
There is a small airport in Rędziny. It's not for passengers or toursists, though. It's for flying lovers as it is a flying club! You can learn how to parachute or fly the glider here! If you want to get the adrenalin flowing that's the perfect place for you!
