There were periods where the climate was temperate (interglacial), and there were other periods where it dropped by 10 or 12 degrees (glaciations). Había periodos donde el clima era templado (interglaciares), y había otros periodos donde el clima bajaba unos 10 ó 12 grados (glaciaciones).

Mesopotamia had a desert climate, with fertile and swampy floors, this made it an area suitable for agriculture. The relief of the Mesopotamian region led two types of climates: semi-arid and desert. Mesopotamia tenía un clima desértico, con suelos fértiles y pantanosos, esto hizo que el suelo fuese apto para la agricultura. El relieve Mesopotámico hizo que haya dos tipos de climas: semiárido y desértico.

It was hot and wet, instead of deserts there were forests and grasslands, but these, thanks to the changes in the climate, began to dry up, forming some deserts and this the climate became hotter. Era húmedo y caluroso, en lugar de desiertos había bosques y praderas, pero esto, gracias a los cambios en el clima comenzaron a secarse formando algunos desiertos, y esto causo que el clima se volviese más cálido.

The climate in Greece was Mediterranean, temperate, with mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. El clima en Grecia era Mediterráneo, templado, con inviernos suaves y lluviosos y veranos calurosos y secos.

In the first half millennium b.C., the climate was wetter and cooler, and the south with more precipitations. Later they had a temperate climate. En el primer milenio a.C., el clima fue húmedo y frío, y el sur con más precipitaciones. Después tuvieron un clima más templado.
