What are the symptoms indicative of Covid-19?

  • Anyone who has provided assistance and care to an individual with a case of Covid-19: health care personnel or social assistance personnel who have not used adequate protective measures, family members, relatives or individuals who have had other similar types of physical contact.
  • Anyone who has been in the same place as an individual with a confirmed positive case, at a distance of less than 2 meters (such as partners, visitors, etc.), without wearing a mask and for more than 15 minutes (for example, having a meal or coffee, etc). Observation of an individual who has had close contact may be defined as for a period of 48 hours before the onset of symptoms of a person with a confirmed case and until the moment in which the case is isolated.
  • Close contact on a plane, train or other long-haul means of transport (provided that it is possible to identify passengers) is considered to be any person within a two-seat radius of a suspected case and the crew or equivalent personnel who have had contact with the individual in question.

What is a close contact?

  • A place for the isolation of the person detected as having a suspected case of Covid-19
  • It will be for individual use, it will be well-ventilated and have a table and a chair that can be easily disinfected, as well as hygienic masks, disposable paper, water-based alcoholic gel, and a waste bin with a lid, pedal and double bag.
  • There is one room available on each site:
    • ICADE Building: O-016 (Botiquín - Planta semisótano, ala oeste)
    • ICAI Building: Office 503
    • Cantoblanco Campus: Room 1, located in the hallway of the Psychology Laboratory (ground floor, building B)
    • IBS (ICADE BUSINESS SCHOOL): Former Staff Dining Hall (one floor down, “semi-sótano”, in front of the cafeteria)
