"Little Red Riding Hood"

Let's read a story!

Once upon a time there lived a girl called Little Red Riding Hood.

She was loved by her grandmother, who gave her a little cap of red velvet. So, she was called Litttle Red Riding Hood.

"Ok, mum. I will take it to her."

Little Red Riding Hood:

MOTHER:

"Come, Little Red Riding Hood, here's a basket full of food. Take it to your grandmother; she is ill and weak, and they will do her good".

One day her mother made her go to see her ill grandma.

Going further into the forest,the girl was picking flowers and fruit for her ill grandma.

"To my grandmother, she is ill, I'm going with a basket full of food to her"- the girl answered.

"Good morning, Little Red Riding Hood"- said a wolf. "Where are you going?"- he asked.

In the forest she met a bad wolf and told him about her ill grandma.

" Far, far away from here, her house stands on the hill, surrounded by large oak-trees"- the girl answered.

"Where does your grandmother live?"- asked the wolf.

The wolf still asked the little girl questions

"Little Red Riding Hood, I'm bringing a basket full of food for you. Open the door!"- replied the wolf.

"Who is there?"- asked a grandmother.

The wolf ran straight to the grandmother's house and knocked at the door.

The wolf lifted the latch, the door sprang open, and without saying a word he went straight to the grandmother's bed, and devoured her.

"Lift the latch. I'm too weak and I can't get up"- answered the grandmother.

But she received no answer. So, she went to the bed and drew back the curtains. There lay her grandmother with her cap pulled far over her face, and looking very strange.

"Good morning, my lovely grandmother"- she said.

The wolf put on her clothes, dressed himself in her cap, laid himself in bed and drew curtains.

"ALL THE BETTER TO HEAR YOU WITH."

"GRANDMA, WHY HAVE YOU GOT SUCH BIG EARS?"

The girl was surprised when she saw her grandma.

"ALL THE BETTER TO EAT YOU WITH!"

"ALL THE BETTER TO SEE YOU WITH".

"AND WHY HAVE YOU GOT SUCH BIG TEETH?"

"AND WHY HAVE YOU GOT SUCH BIG EYES?"

Fortunately, the girl managed to escape.

The wolf wanted to swallow up Little Red Riding Hood.

Finally, The forester appeared and killed the wolf and set the grandma free.

There was no end to their joy!
