The Legend of Jeżyce

Our main aim was to motivate students to learn something more about the district they come from, and to shape their sense of cultural and social identity. To integrate students from three different schools.

When the students wrote the fragment, they sent it to the next school, where children wrote another part of the text.

Each school from our district (there are 3 of them) had to write a fragment.

The task was to write the legend of our district - Jeżyce.

Consequently, students know better the place where they live, they are more aware of history and the facts about Jeżyce, yet they can create a fantastic story about the place. Moreover, they develop their imagination, they feel more connected with the place where they live.
