Thanksgiving is on the 4th Thursday of November!
- In 1620, a group of settlers from England sailed on The Mayflower to America or "The New World"
- They sought religious freedom
- They were called the "Plymouth Colony" and "the Puritans," but came to be known as the "Pilgrims"

- The Native American Wampanoag tribe had been living in America for over 12,000 years
- The Native Americans helped the Pilgrims by hunting, fishing, and gathering food for a feast, known as "The First Thanksgiving" in 1621
